“Omanim Yotsrim Omanim” אומנים יוצרים אומנים -March 2017

In March 2017, at the age of 18, I took part in my sixth exhibition, a collaborative project organized by Sarah Sahad and Miri Cohen. The exhibition invited artists to create works inspired by great figures of Israeli music, with all sales going to the organization Disabled, Not Half a Human Being (נכה, לא חצי בן אדם), chaired by disability rights activist Alex Fridman. I chose to focus on the music of Idan Raichel, creating four paintings inspired by the journey from Ethiopia to Israel, a powerful and recurring theme in his work. For me, this project was both a tribute to music and a way to engage with history, migration, and collective memory.
